This privacy policy governs your use of each and every software application (“Application(s)”) for mobile devices developed for schools and colleges that have been created by Dream Web Services, trading as School Automation System. The Application(s) provides up-to-date information about schools, including push notifications when homework, result, notices and news are published. The app also shows the attendance in school or colleges by the students, teachers and staffs.
The only identifiable information we collect about you is via the school admission process; this information includes your name, the Android software version of your device and the name of the app.
In addition, the Application(s) may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device you use, your mobile devices unique device ID, the IP address of your mobile device and your mobile operating system. The only information which is automatically collected is required for the proper operation of the Application(s).
The Application(s) does not collect information about the location of your mobile device unless you are using our vehicle tracking module which has built in location tracker to help the vehicle driver to locate you during pickup.
The information you update in this app will be kept with the school or college which your Application(s) serves. Other than the information you voluntarily provide via the app, no information will be shared with any third parties.
You can stop all collection of information by the Application(s) easily by uninstalling the Application(s). You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.
This app uses camera and phone state permissions only to allow users to share notes, homework and update their profile images. The app never takes any pictures nor stores them without user interventions.
We will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application(s) and for a reasonable time thereafter. We will retain Automatically Collected information for up to 24
months and thereafter may store it in aggregate. If you’d like us to delete User Provided Data that you have provided via the Application(s), please contact your school or colleges and we will do the required process to do that in a reasonable time. Please note
that some or all of the User Provided Data may be required in order for the Application(s) to function properly.
We are concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. We provide physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information we process and maintain. For example, we limit access to this information to authorized employees and contractors who need to know that information in order to operate, develop or improve our Application(s). Please be aware that, although we endeavour provide reasonable security for information we process and maintain, no security system can prevent all potential security breaches.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. We will notify you of any changes to our Privacy Policy by posting the new Privacy Policy here and informing you via email or text message. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.
By using the Application(s), you are consenting to our processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us. “Processing,” means using cookies on a computer/hand held device or using or touching information in any way, including, but not limited to, collecting, storing, deleting, using, combining and disclosing information to the school or colleges you are linked to.
